Crystal had excellent and varied taste in music- from multiple flavors of rock, to musicals of all stripes, to K-pop. She was happy to share music with people, and happy to hear what others wanted to share. This means that all the people she’s spent any real time with might have a song or two, or twenty, that they strongly associate with her.
These playlists are an attempt to capture that. These are not necessarily her favorite songs- that was a tricky question to narrow down on a good day. Rather, these is a soundscape that her friends and family can put on to find some sense of closeness to her. Each song in these lists has a story- whether danced to in a research lab, blasted over concert speakers, used as ambient music to relax to, or as lullabies for Autumn.
Have a listen, but, uh- maybe be mindful of your surroundings. Not all of these are safe for work.

This one is just over two hours, and played during the Celebration of Life held 5/11/2025. It’s a subset of the overall list, with representation across most genres or artists found on the full list, with an bit of attention paid to make it more broadly acceptable.
